Growing up Kenny was my neighbor. He was always a sweet man, and always gave his time when you came around, right up until he passed away. When I was little, I used to go sit on his lawn mower, and he was always a sport about it. Kenny was out painting his fence when I was a small kid, and as I walked up he saw me sucking my thumb, pulled it out of my mouth and painted it, which effectively helped me kick the habit. He was a sweet man, and my memories of him smoking his pipe, and keeping a pristine lawn regardless of the elements or hardships will live on. I am grateful for the memories that I have of him, and know that he is in a peaceful place now.
