Leonard Carlucci Obituary

Leonard M. Carlucci

Sep 9, 1946 - Aug 20, 2025

Jupiter, FL

Leonard M. Carlucci, 78, of Jupiter, Florida, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, August 20, 2025, at Jupiter Medical Center, following a brief illness.

He was born September 19, 1946, in Sandusky, to the late Michael and Josephine Carlucci. Len was a 1964 graduate of St. Mary's Central and went on to earn both his undergraduate degree and Master of Business Administration from the University of Detroit.

Len proudly served in the United States Army, where he was assigned to the Arctic Rangers. Following his military service, he embarked on a distinguished 27-year career with Barnes Group, retiring in 2003 as Vice President of Barnes Group and President of Associated Spring. His years with Barnes took him around the world, where he provided leadership, mentorship, and built lifelong friendships with many colleagues.

A gifted storyteller, Len delighted in sharing tales of his life adventures. He often spoke fondly of his childhood in Sandusky and the time spent with family in New York during his youth. Len's devotion to family and friends was evident through his enduring relationships with his many friends and family.

He cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Len took great joy in their activities and accomplishments, always recognizing the unique personalities of each one and offering them his encouragement and support.

Len also loved sports, both as a participant and a fan. He enjoyed golf, and in his free time, he could often be found watching college and professional sports, cheering especially for Cleveland Browns, New York Yankees, and Michigan Wolverines.

Len is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Carlucci of Jupiter, Florida; his children, Michael (Jen) Carlucci of Raleigh, North Carolina, JoEllen Carlucci of Broadview Heights, Marc (Matt) Flores of Connecticut, Angela Flores (Rob Golden) of Mason, and Melissa Flores of Connecticut; his dear friend and brother-in-law, Patrick Tufano; 10 grandchildren, Dominic, Joseph, Jonathan, Anthony, Isabella, Mikayla, Gabriella, Olivia, Kara, and Ryan; along with many cousins and extended family.

Private family graveside services will take place at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting family with arrangements.
