Sandusky

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda L. (Nath) Best, 72, of Sandusky, early Monday afternoon, March 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family in Stein Hospice Care Center. Linda was a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother who touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth.

Linda was born June 21, 1952, in Sandusky, the daughter of Raymond Bernard and Naomi Jane (Morgan) Nath. She attended Sandusky High School and dedicated her life to raising her daughter and grandchildren. Linda's passion for her grandchildren was evident in everything she did.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Naomi (Pat) Nath; granddaughter, Taylor; in-laws, Raymond and Wilma Best; and her beloved pets, Sheba and Lido. She leaves behind her husband of 34 years, James/Jim (JR), daughter, Angela (Bo); grandchildren, Rayvin (Doug), Corianne (Dustin), Lacey, and Laban; great-grandchildren, Rowan, Arya, Sayla, and Ryker; stepgrandchildren, Lilly, Keegan, and Macie; brother, Ralph (Carolyn) Nath; furbabies, Lily and Leo; as well as many other family members. Linda's legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on through her family and all who knew her.

Her family and friends will forever remember her gentle spirit, her unwavering support, and the joy she brought into their lives. Linda will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2025, at David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH and from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. to honor Linda's life Monday morning, March 17, 2025, at The Sanctuary, 211 E. Monroe Street and Wayne Street, Sandusky, OH, with Pastor Larrick Zirkle officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Back to the Wild, P.O. Box 423, 4504 Bardshar Road, Castalia, OH 44824; Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

Thinking of your family in this difficult time. May Linda´s memory live on thru all those who love her. She now celebrates her new life with Taylor, and those who left before her, in the arms of Jesus. God willing we will meet again. Love and prayers always from me and my girls.
