Linda Rose (Witter) Hahler, 82, of Greenwich, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, after a short illness.
She was born Aug. 18, 1940, in Wakeman, to Charles and Vivan (Ford) Witter.
She was employed as a cook at Gaymont Nursing Home for 20 years. Linda also provided home care for Senior adults. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, family time of playing cards on Sunday afternoons, and her beloved cats.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Sherry Witter of Greenwich; grandson, Jon (Jen) Witter of Ashland; grandsons, Jaxson and Jase Witter; sisters, Lida Barlow and Charlotte Anderson; special friends, Gary, Joanna, Shawn, Jessica, Logan, Philip, Jasmin, Garett, Javannah; very special little friend Joyce Shirk; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Hahler; and brother, Burton (Buzz) Witter.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2023, at Toft Funeral Home, Wakeman Chapel, 16 Cooper St. Linda's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Mel Sayler presiding. Burial will follow at Clarksfield Cemetery.
Those wishing to contribute to Linda 's memory may do so to charity of the donor's choice.
