Luella Maxine (Akey) Mussell, 97, of Huron, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025. She had been a resident of Huron, since 1965.
She was born April 28, 1927, in Sandusky to the late Robert Akey and Mary (Furst) Mingus.
Luella was known to many as Lu-Lu and Ma. She loved her family, taking trips, dancing, cooking, eating out and happy hour. She was a loving mother and a caring grand-mother. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her children, Marie and Donald Siegfried, Linda Davridge, Diane Keairnes, Ernest Siegfried, and Denny Mussell; brothers, George and Lenny Mingus, and Ron and Gordon Akey; sister, Elaine; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Nick Mussell; and her children, Robert and Janie Siegfried.
At her request, cremation will take place. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, Ohio 44870 is assisting the family with arrangements.
