Lynette M. (Magi) Zezeck, 72, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Tuesday evening, September 9, 2025, with her family at her side at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after an extended illness.

She was born May 1, 1953, in Bellevue, the daughter of Salvatore Samuel "Toby" and Frances Mary (Carrado) Magi. She graduated from Sandusky High School in 1972.

Lynette retired in 2006 from Delphi Chassis (New Departure-Hyatt Inc.), where she had worked for over 30 years. After retiring, she had also worked at Drug Mart for several years. She was a member of V.F.W. Post No. 2529.

Survivors include her sons, Donnie (Kelly) Nemitz and Derrick Nemitz; daughter, Alesha (Jon) Wollenslegel; sister, Pam (Franz) Kistler of Sandusky; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her best friend and companion, her dog, "Hemi."

She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Mark; parents, Salvatore "Toby" and Francis (Corrado) Magi; and her brothers, Michael and Gary Magi.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, September 12, 2025, at David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Following visitation, it was her wish to be cremated. There will be no services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870 or Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior Street, Sandusky, OH 44870.

I am so sorry to read of Lynette´s passing. We were friends in 7th, 8th and 9th grade. We took different paths in life and it´s been decades since I´ve seen her.. but the memories we shared at the bowling alley and " Buzzing the Ave" are still alive. I remember her Mom... Dad.. Mike..Gary and her sister Pam. I always tried to be around for Sunday dinner to get food so wonderful that I still remember. Rest well Lynette. My condolences to her family. May the memories she made be a blessing.

Lynette was a kind, funny and outspoken employee I enjoyed working with at DM. She is no longer in pain and will be missed by many.

Lynette and I had known each other since the early 70's when riding the bus to school. We later became friends going to the VFW and working together doing various projects. We talked constantly and I will miss our conversations at Drug Mart. Soar high my friend. We traded purses and various jewelry. Shecwas always laughing and cutting a joke or remark.
