Margaret Ellen Myers Holden, 82, died in the loving arms of her daughter Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, from Alzheimer's while surrounded by her three granddaughters. Margaret was born and grew up in the Martins Ferry, Ohio area.
Her work was with Delvickios Grocery Store in Yorkville as a young teen and from there, she moved to Steubenville where she worked at Steubenville Hospital. She then moved to Sandusky where she retired from Firelands Hospital.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Lee Morando (fiance' Pam Miller) of Norwalk; daughter, Arleta Jane Morando Robinette (Thomas Jr.) of China Grove, North Carolina; sister, Rose Myers Smith; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022, with Margaret's memorial service at 12 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle in Salisbury, North Carolina.

I worked with Margaret at Northeast and we were really good friends, so to see and hear of this. She would always talk about Ohio because I am originally from Ohio and I would always make her Christmas cookies.
