Marian Louise (Smetzer) Andrews, 94, of Bellevue, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

Marian was born April 5, 1930, in Bellevue and was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Dorothea Smetzer.

Marian was a graduate of Bellevue High School in 1949. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she was chairman of the desserts for their dinners for eight years. She was also a member of Four County Young-at-Heart and lifelong member of Order of the Eastern Star in Monroeville.

Marian married Richard "Dick" Andrews July 8, 1951, and he preceded her in death in 1995. She is also preceded in death by her son, Denny Andrews, in 2018; special grandson, Nathan Andrews, in 1987; brothers, Howard Smetzer and Bob Smetzer; and sister, Ellen Middleswarth.

Marian is survived by her daughter, Deb Andrews of Norwalk; granddaughter, Shannon Andrews of Bellevue; daughter-in-law, Anita Craig of Warsaw, Ohio and many wonderful cousins, nieces and nephews.

In her spare time, Marian enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, as well as The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians. Family and friends meant the world to Marian, and she loved spending time with them.

Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until a memorial service begins at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery.
