Marie M. Frazier, 93, residing in Norwalk, passed away early Thursday morning, Aug. 17, 2023, at Toledo Promedica Hospital.
Marie was born April 10, 1930, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Ruby (French) Hart and Phillip Hart. The family moved around frequently due to her father's career. Marie graduated from Lima Senior High School in 1948. She was employed as a telephone operator at GTE and retired in 1987. Marie enjoyed going out to dinner with family and going to Norwalk Eagles with her friends for drinks. Her friends called her lucky, due to her penchant for winning the weekly drawing at the Eagles. Marie had a kind heart and that showed in her care for animals, friends, family, and strangers alike. She was very kind and accepting of others.
Marie is survived by her son, Michael (Lorna) Frazier; grandson, Christopher (Jennie) Frazier; and great-granddaughters, Scoot and Lark Frazier.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Frazier; daughter, Karen Denise Frazier; grandson, Dylan Frazier; brothers, Phillip (Freda) Hart and Richard Hart; and sisters, Marge (Herman) Predmore and Shirley (Bill) Newman.
A private family service will take place.
