Mark A. Bailey, 62, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025, at Firelands Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

Mark was born April 12, 1962, in Sandusky to Mary (Keller) Bailey and the late Ben B. Bailey.

Mark was a proud graduate of Sandusky High School in 1980 and pursued his education at Hocking College and The Ohio State University ATI. As the owner of Bailey's Tree and Landscape Inc., he dedicated over 45 years to providing exceptional tree and landscape services. Mark took great pride in his work, valuing the trust of his customers and the quality of service he delivered. He was an active member of the Tree Care, Turf, and Nursery Associations and had a passion for collecting antique tractors and memorabilia. Above all, Mark cherished time spent with his family and friends, especially his beloved grandchildren, Bennett and Brailyn.

Mark is survived by his wife, Lisa (Kromer) Bailey, whom he married September 16, 1989; daughter, Emily (Marc) Bolen; grandson, Bennett Bolen; granddaughter, Brailyn Bolen; mother, Mary (Keller) Bailey; in-laws, Loriann (Tim) Kromer Wilkes, Leslie "Homer" (Holly) Kromer and Lynnette (Jim Kimberlin) Kromer; aunt, Beulah Starcher of West Virginia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his father, Mark is preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Gilbert G. and Elizabeth "Betty" Kromer; brother-in-law, Leonard L. Kromer; nephew, Gilbert D. Kromer; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Private family services will be at a later date with burial following at Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.

Lisa and family...I am so sad to learn of Marks passing...years ago when we lived in Bayview, we purchased so many things from the shop and also for the landscape...Mark was always so nice as were you and your mother-in-law...great memories.
