Mark T. Kane, 55, of Huron, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
He was born May 14, 1968, in Akron, and was a 1987 graduate of Sandusky High School.
He operated the Lagoons Marina in Huron for several years.
Mark loved being on the water, whether it was boating or fishing. If he was not in the marina, he was on the water.
He is survived by his children, Savannah Kane, Shelby (fiance' Marquis Bates) Kane, and Skylar Kane; mother, Jerrilyn "Jerry" Martin; stepfather, James Martin; grandchildren, Carson Bates and Miles Bates; brothers, Scott (Chris) Kane and Matt (Julie) Martin; and several nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, John M. Kane; and grandmothers, Elizabeth Kane and Elizabeth Hartman.
Visitation for friends will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, until the time of Mark's funeral at 11 a.m. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
Memorial contributions in Mark's name may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870.
