Mary Ann "Vickie" (Rosnick) Guenther, 86, residing in Sandusky, passed away Friday afternoon, Aug. 26, 2022, at The Commons of Providence.
Mary Ann was born Aug. 28, 1935, in Morris, Pennsylvania, to the late John Samuel Rosnick and Anna Margaret (Trunzer) Rosnick Brewer.
Mary Ann retired as a registered nurse from Bellevue Hospital in 1997 after 32 years of service. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Monroeville. In her spare time, Mary Ann enjoyed sewing and crocheting, taking walks with friends and family, and was an excellent cook and baker.
Mary Ann is survived by her sons, E. Mark Guenther of Monroeville and Adrian K. (Cindy) Guenther of Bellevue; two grandchildren, Alex Guenther of Castalia and Allison (Brandon) Bedell of Bellevue; sisters, E. Jane Martin, Lois Miracle, and Ruth Carlson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Eberhard "Ebbie" Max Guenther on Nov. 18, 2018; daughter, Krista Allison; sisters, Jessie, Eleanor Bircher, and Esther Shaffer; and brothers, William, Merle, Ralph, and Charles Rosnick.
A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 121 W. Broad St., Monroeville. The Rev. Dennis Hinkle will officiate. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting family with arrangements.
