Mary E. Smith, 86, of Bellevue, passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, at The Bellevue Hospital. Mary was born June 13, 1936, in Carey, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Jarvis) Fox.

Mary was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue VFW Auxiliary, and Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo, dart ball, and bowling along with taking trips to casinos.

Mary is survived by her son, Chuck (Teri) Fields of Bellevue; daughter, Anna Fields of Bellevue; grandchildren, Ali (Miles) Rookard, Brittany Covella, Kyle Fields, and Justin (Courtnee) Rohr; great-grandchild, Beckett Rookard; and brother, Bill Fox of Alvada.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Merle Smith, Jr., whom she married Aug. 27, 1971; and five siblings, Jim Fox, Bobby Fox, Ruth Mae Kitzler, Helen Stover, and Annie Reed.

Friends will be received 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, until the time of Mary's funeral at 1 p.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, Ohio, 44811.
