Michael J. Esposito, 76, residing in Sandusky, passed away late Sunday evening, Oct. 6, 2024, at Stein Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.

He was born May 7, 1948, in Sandusky, to Nicholas and Dorothy (Kubitz) Esposito.

Michael retired from JBT in 2009 after 32 years of service as a metal finisher. Michael enjoyed cooking, food, music, fishing, dancing, going to Cedar Point, and spending time with family and friends.

Michael is survived by his wife, Theresa (Deaver) Esposito, whom he married June 14th, 1969; son, Michael A. (Melinda) Esposito; five grandchildren, Neeka, Charles "Mikey," Noah, Wyatt, and Haden; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, David Esposito and Nicholas (Linda) Esposito; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Anthony Esposito in 2008; and brother, Dennis Esposito.

Michael's family services will be private at Castalia Cemetery with Pastor Mel Saylor presiding.

Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory will be assisting family with arrangements.
