Michael L. "Mike" White, 58, residing in Clyde, passed away Monday, Feb. 19, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic after a lengthy illness.

Mike was born Aug. 8, 1965, in Sandusky, to James White and Darlene (Bango) White. His mother preceded him in death.

Mike graduated from Sandusky High School in 1983. He worked as a maintenance supervisor and was employed at Sealmaster, Evergreen Plastics, and Wilbert Plastics. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, racing, fishing, grilling, music, rooting for Cleveland sports teams, fixing anything that was broken, and a cold Corona with a lime. Most of all, Mike enjoyed spending time with his family, grandsons, and friends.

Mike is survived by his wife, Scarlette (Barnbrugge) White, whom he married June 22, 2002; daughters, Haley (Paul) Chavarria and Maddeson (Ian) White; father, James Otis White; grandchildren, Benjimin, Oakland, and a baby girl on the way; brothers, Jim (Molly) White and Brian (Billie) White; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation for friends will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, until the time of Mike's funeral at 1 p.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
