Mildred A. (Daniels) Markus, 84, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 10, 2023.
She was born Feb. 9, 1939, in Midland, Pennsylvania, to Mildred and Paul Daniels. For many years, Millie worked at the front desk of Catawba Island Club. She was a volunteer at Serving Our Seniors, a Girl Scout Troup Leader, avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and belonged to various card clubs. Her favorite thing of all however, was watching her grandchildren and their sporting events.
Millie is survived by her daughters, Paula A. Pisano (Bill Geary) and Nika L. Markus (Jim Palermo); grandsons, Sean (Chelsea) Pisano and Cory (Nicole) Pisano; and sister, Mary Lee Lang.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nickolas C. Markus; sister, Bernice Gerra; and parents.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron, Ohio, 44839. Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Meadow Green Memorial Park, 2602 Bogart Rd., Huron.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Serving Our Seniors, 310 E. Boalt St., Sandusky, Ohio, 44870.
Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, Huron, is assisting family.

Dear Millie´s family....our most sincere condolences. For many years, greeted us at CIC front desk. She always asked about our families. Always looked beautiful. She was certainly missed. Rest In Peace you dear Millie. And you will never be forgotten.
