Millard E. Adkins, 73, of Norwalk, died Sunday, September 21, 2025, at his residence.
He was born September 15, 1952, in Wise, West Virginia, and attended Sandusky High School. He loved hunting and fishing and spent many nights in Resthaven doing so. He also loved to pull horses with his friend, Jim Keller, and enjoyed all sports.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Jo Adkins; his companion, Marilyn Russell; two granddaughters, Kourtney and Kaitlyn; eight sisters, Connie Hatfield, Patsy Mosley, Anna (Johnny) Tackett, Cathy Caudill, Nancy Agresea, Becky Hall, Linda Gayhart, and Betty (Leroy) Gibson; two brothers, Hobert (Pam) Adkins and Bobby Adkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Carrie Adkins; two sisters, Sue and Clair Adkins; and three brothers, Roger, Harlen, and Bill Adkins.
Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, where services will begin at noon Thursday, September 25, 2025. Pastor Greg Griffin will officiate and burial will be at Perkins Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of Ransom Funeral Home.
