Nancy A. (Mischler) Schippel, 88, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy was born June 11, 1936, in Sandusky to the late Clarence Mischler and Evelyn (Hofer) Grahl.

Nancy's greatest joy was raising her children and dedicating herself to her role as a homemaker. Later in life, she found fulfillment working at Sandusky Yacht Club, where she retired in 1996. She was a devoted member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a former member of the I.A.B. Club.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Donna Casper of St Petersburg, Florida and Shirley Voight of Sandusky; son, Roy Schippel of Sandusky; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Grahl of Sandusky; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Roger L. Schippel in 2021; sons, Roger "Rick" Schippel and William "Bill" Schippel; sons-in-law, Dale Casper and Ralph Voight; and brother, Ronald Frederick Mischler, Sr.

Friends may call fro 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Friends may also call from 10:30 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, at the funeral home with Deacon Jeff Claar presiding. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
