Nancy E. Sessler, 93, of Sandusky, passed away Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky following a brief illness.

She was born Oct. 5, 1931, in Stony Ridge and graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1949, where she was a majorette in the marching band. Nancy was a farmer's wife and homemaker her whole life. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sandusky, where she taught Sunday School and Bible School, and was a member of Women of the Church Auxiliary. She was also an Altar Care committee member and Naomi Bible Study Circle group. She was a member of Margaretta Grange, Margaretta Country Gals, and Erie County Farm Bureau.

She is survived by three daughters, Susan (Mike) Cullen of Castalia, Sally (David) Warner of Vickery and Peggy (Thomas) Kingsborough of Huron; three sons, Dennis (Barb) Sessler of Sandusky, Michael Sessler of Marblehead and Scott (Karen) Sessler of Lilburn, Georgia; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one soon to be great-great-grandchild; sister, Narda Wilburn; two sisters-in-law, Donna Sessler and Alice Bertsch; brother-in-law, John Barnes; and many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sessler; parents, Orville and Orla (Klink) Taylor; three sisters, Norma Crowder, Norine Krumnow and Nadine Finney; sister-in-law, Carol Barnes; and two brothers-in-law, Robert Bertsch and Curtis Sessler.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St. Castalia, and from 10 a.m. until time of services starting at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church 502 Bardshar Rd. Sandusky. Pastor Jen Herrmann will officiate. Burial will be at Castalia Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church and Margaretta Township Fire Dept. 113 South Ave., Castalia, OH 44824.
