Castalia
Nella Biller, 88, of Castalia, died Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Cleveland MetroHealth, following a lengthy illness.
She was born July 22, 1937, in Sandusky, and was a 1955 graduate of Margaretta High School. In 1963, she graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor of science degree in education. She taught school in the Copley School District, Benton Carroll School District in Oak Harbor, and Margaretta School District.
Nella was a member of Congregational United Church of Christ in Castalia, Delta Lambda Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society, Phi Theta Club of the Church, and Tiffin Chapter No. 189 of the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by several cousins and was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison E. and Mary (Bogart) Biller.
At the request of Nella, cremation has taken place.
Memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, October 19. 2025, at Castalia Congregational United Church of Christ, 205 Main Street, Castalia. Pastor John Paputza will officiate, and entombment will be at Chapel Columbarium of Oakland Cemetery.
Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, Castalia, is entrusted with arrangements.
