Nicole Woodward Obituary

Nicole Marie (Del Signore) Woodward

Oct 11, 1978 - Feb 20, 2025

Toledo

Nicole Marie (Del Signore) Woodward departed this world Thursday, February 20, 2025, peacefully welcomed into the presence of her Lord, surrounded by her loving family. Nicole, the youngest of four children and cherished only daughter, was born October 11, 1978, in Sandusky. She was lovingly referred to as the "Princess" by her brothers. Her journey through life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and a deep faith in Jesus.

Nicole earned her bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, paired with a minor in Family Business, from the University of Toledo. It was there that she met her beloved husband, Heath Woodward. Together, they celebrated 23 years of marriage, sharing a life of love and devotion. For a few years, Nicole thrived in the business world; however, her heart led her to become a full-time mom after welcoming her precious children, Olivia, Abigail, and Luke. Her commitment to family was unwavering, as she took on the noble role of homeschooling, instilling in her children Godly values, spiritual knowledge, and a love for the Lord.

Nicole was known for her subtle wit and magnetic personality. Though she often claimed she didn't want to be the center of attention, her friends and family were invariably drawn to her warmth and charisma, viewing her as the glue that held their lives together. She delighted in the little things, always rejoicing in the presence of her family and the love they shared.

A devoted Cleveland Browns fan and a supporter of University of Michigan, Nicole embraced her role as a loving partner, aligning her cheering with her husband's passions. Her love for cobalt blue and fun socks was a reflection of her joyous spirit, while her talent for cooking made family gatherings a delightful occasion. Nicole was an avid reader, her favorite books were the Bible and Pride and Prejudice (she even said that she married her Mr. Darcy). She took many cherished trips camping with her family, embracing the beauty of nature alongside her adored dog, Lucy.

In addition to her husband and children, Nicole will also be missed by her parents, Michael and Mariann Del Signore; her father-in-law, Chet (Kristi) Woodward; her brothers, Dave (Carol), Chris, and Mike Del Signore; her brother-in-law, Hutch (Angela) Woodward; her sister-in-law, Heather (Wayne Grindle) Fendrick; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who adored her.

Her mother-in-law, Erlynn Woodward, awaits her in eternal peace, and though their time together was cut short, Nicole's legacy of love, laughter, and deep faith will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends. Nicole Marie Woodward's life was a testament to the beauty of love and family, her memory remaining a guiding light for all who were blessed to know her.

Family will receive guests from 11 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at noon Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Westside Community Church, 6045 Bancroft St, Toledo.
