Patricia M. "Pat" Lukac, 97, of Green Springs, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Oct. 3, 1926, in Sandusky, the daughter of Andrew and Stella (Puckrin) McLoughlin. Pat was a 1944 graduate of Sandusky High School.
Pat married Walter O'Neill in 1951 and he preceded her in death May 15, 1963. Pat then married Andrew J. Lukac on Dec. 4, 1965, and he preceded her in death Nov. 19, 2016.
Pat was a very successful entrepreneur and some of her proudest days as a business owner were with The Village Store in Green Springs. Pat was extremely creative and expressed herself in beautiful flower arranging for many occasions and for many years. She was also an avid baker and was especially known for her delicious varieties of cookies that brought happy smiles to so many people.
Pat is survived by her children, Kathleen (Ray Merrill) O'Neill of Gainesville, Florida, Kevin (Marsha Carrington) O'Neill of Sandusky, Michael (Gigi) O'Neill of Clyde, Laurie (Gary) Frayn of Beaverton, Oregon, Andrew (Lisa) Lukac III of Bellevue, and Matthew (Paula) Lukac of Norwalk; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son, Brian O'Neill; and siblings, George McLoughlin and Vivian Hendershot.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 N. Broadway St., Green Springs, with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 609 Vine St., Clyde, Ohio, 43410. Additional visitation will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Burial will follow at Green Springs Cemetery. A Luncheon will follow burial back at St. Marys.

My sincere condolences to Pat´s whole family. She was a dear friend and classmate of my late mother, Marilyn Canada. Mom so looked forward to seeing Pat at their class reunions and luncheons, and she especially looked forward to the wonderful cookies that Pat gifted to them every Christmas. Pat was a wonderful lady who will be missed. RIP dear Pat!
