Patricia L Wise, Bellevue, died Sunday, June 19, 2022, at the Willows of Bellevue. She was born August 27, 1936, in Bellevue, the daughter of the late Charles & Marie (Morgan) Murphy.
Patricia graduated from Bellevue High School in 1954. She worked at Stephens Printing in Sandusky, Ohio until marriage and kids became a part of her life. She married Vincent J. Wise on October 17, 1959, at Immaculate Conception Church. She worked at the Sorrowful Mother Shrine until her retirement once her kids were in high school. Patricia enjoyed bingo and lighthouses. She was a member of St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church, Marywood.
She is survived by her sons: John (Carlyn) Wise, Huron, OH, and Joe (Raylene) Wise, Berea, OH; daughter, Sue (Mike) Ward, McCutchenville, OH; 7 grandchildren: Jacob Wise, Aaron Wise, Christopher (Sarah) Wise, Michaela Ward, Brian Ward, Jaimee (Brian) Fonseca, and Nicolle (Craig) Varner; 7 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Eileen Reinhart, Tiffin, OH, and Isabelle Murphy; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband on December 31, 2017, and her siblings: Lucille Sheerer, Mildred Ledman, Laura Leid, Betty Miller, Robert Murphy, and Margaret Murphy.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 12:00, noon, at St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church, 16209 E. CR 46, Bellevue, OH 44811. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in Patricia's honor to St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church, or to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
