Sandusky
Paul C. Brake, 77, of Sandusky, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, following a brief illness.
He was born April 21, 1948, in Sandusky, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1967. Following High School, Paul proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. Paul worked for Sandusky Plastics for 34 years, retiring in 2006. In his free time, he enjoyed going camping and selling at flea markets.
He is survived by two daughters, Leah Rhode and Dawn Collins; son, Scott (Eveie) Rhode; eight grandchildren, Christine Bleeks, Mallorie Howey, April Vrooman, Ashley Ring, Josh Collins, Tyler Rhode, Sydney Dyer, and Aiden Rhode; many great-grandchildren; brother, Daniel (Cindy) Brake; and many nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen (Sager) Brake; parents, Ward and Carol (Evans) Brake; sister, Nan Greenman; and brothers, Joe, Tim, and Jon Brake.
Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, and from 10 a.m. until time of services starting at 11 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2025, at the funeral home. Pastor Rusty Yost will officiate. Burial will be at Castalia Cemetery.

I worked with Paul for about 20 some years he was a setup man in printing fun to be around rest in peace my friend your work on earth was well done

Love, prayers and condolences to the family of Paul. We worked with Paul for many years and he was such a nice and wonderful guy to be around. He will be missed. He has reunited with his love one, Eileen, and they are cutting up. May he find rest and peace. God bless you!
