With deep sorrow, the Urso family would like to announce the peaceful passing of Pauline Rita Urso (Pultz), 87, of Huron, on Friday, Oct. 21, 2022. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Pauline was born Nov. 18, 1934, in Sandusky, to the late Frank and Mary Pultz (Lamia). After graduating from St. Mary's High School, she went on to attend Providence Nursing School. She worked as a registered nurse at Providence Hospital and Ohio Veteran's Home for nearly 30 years.

Pauline married Andrea Urso in 1959, in Strasatti, Marsala, Sicily. They eventually settled in Huron and raised their family. She was a devoted mother to their six children and enjoyed hosting large family meals. She was known for her delicious Sicilian pizza. She was a longtime member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Huron, and was an Italian grandmother to all who knew her.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters-in-law, Andy (Jane) and Tony (Ruth); and son-in-law, Jeff Dolsen.

She is survived by her husband, Andrea; children, Angelo (Cindy) Urso, Francis Urso, Ann (Raymond) Hogle, Andre (Dana) Urso, Thomas Urso, and Mary Dolsen; grandchildren, Brandon (Taylor) Urso, Corey Urso, Andrew Hogle, Juli Hogle, Andréana Urso, Nadya Urso, Gabriel Dolsen, and Nathan Dolsen; great-grandchildren, Roman Urso and Chance Sorber; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Open visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron, Ohio, 44839. A short prayer service will begin at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2022, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 430 Main St., Huron, followed by a graveside service at Scott Union Cemetery on Huron Avery Road.
