Peggy Anne (Brown) Ricci, 67, of Huron, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Stein Hospice after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Born September 21, 1958, in Bellevue, Peggy was the daughter of the late Henry Clarence and Margeurite Elizabeth (Palmer) Brown. She was a 1976 graduate of Bellevue High School and worked for many years at McDonald's in Huron, where she was known for her kind heart and friendly smile.

Peggy loved simple pleasures, such as watching her favorite classic TV shows, including I Love Lucy, Bewitched, and I Dream of Jeannie, and listening to her favorite disco music. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her beloved son, Anthony, who was the light of her life.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Ricci of Huron and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ricci, in 2010; siblings, Sandy Didion, Nancy Didion, Ronnie Drouillard, and Mike Drouillard; and her beloved dog, Daisy.

Memorial Service will begin at noon Friday, October 10, 2025, at Meadow Green Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2602 Bogart Road, Huron. Inurnment will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at Stein Hospice, as well as to Peggy's dear friends, Wendy, Sheila, Pat, and Mike, and the entire McDonald's staff, for their loving care, friendship, and support during this time.
