Raymond M. Pryor, 81, of Sandusky, passed away Saturday evening, Oct. 15, 2022, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
He was born Dec. 30, 1940, in Akron, and graduated from Garfield High School. Raymond proudly served in U.S. Army from 1962-1970. He worked for Firestone Tire and Rubber in Akron for 14 years and General Motors for 28 years, retiring in 2005. Raymond was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Akron, and was a life member of American Legion. He enjoyed spending time with grandkids, watching sports, fishing and hunting, and going to Sidetrax Bar and Grill, Sandusky.
He is survived by his wife, Leanna (Walton) Pryor, whom he married May 9, 2006; stepdaughters, Tasha (Alex Spears) Gama and Jessica (Devin) Conrad; stepsons, Ronald (Jodie Guseman) Reiman and Justin (Lori Collins) Reiman; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother, Charles Pryor.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Kathrine (Allrutz) Pryor; and brother, Thomas Pryor.
Friends may call 3-6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.
