Rebecca S. "Becky" Bluhm

Sandusky

Becky Bluhm, 71, residing in Sandusky and formerly of Logan and Reynoldsburg, passed away Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023.

Rebecca was born Nov. 25, 1951, in Sandusky, to Clark and Ethel Halladay.

Rebecca graduated from Sandusky High School and was a graduate of Providence School of Nursing. She was employed as a LPN for many years with the Red Cross, Grant Hospital, as a home health nurse, and at various physicians offices.

She was an amazing seamstress and handmade her own wedding dress and clothes for family members and friends. She also did other needle work such as cross stitch and crochet. She was a member of Twigs Crafting Group who made crafts to fund a children's hospital. She was a fantastic cook and baker and was an Ohio State football fan.

She is survived by her nephews, Scott (Sherri) Halladay and John (Terry) Halladay; nieces, Jeanne (Bonnie Donofrio) Halladay, Cheryl Kent, Charlene Halladay, and Cyndi Goodine; numerous great-nieces and grea-nephews; and special lifelong friends, Sylvia Morgan, Geri Roth, and Lucy Miller.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rodney Bluhm; and two brothers, John (Ardeth) Halladay and Charles (Rose) Halladay.

Rebecca's memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding.

Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
