Sandusky
Richard Lee Dehn 80, of Sandusky, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Parkvue Healthcare Center.
He was born September 22, 1944, in Sandusky to the late Warren and Mary (Boylestein) Dehn.
Richard was a 1963 graduate of Sandusky High School. He was employed for over 15 years at Farrell-Cheek Steel Company, 10 years at Sandusky Plastics, and most recently at Sandusky City Schools. He was a former member of Sandusky AMVETS and Huron Eagles. He enjoyed playing poker on Tuesdays, going fishing, attending sporting events of his grandchildren, spending time with his family, and posting up on his porch as the unofficial, "Block Watch President".
He is survived by his daughter, Nichole Dehn; sons, Chadd (Jill) Dehn and Corey Dehn; five grandchildren, Trevor (Sarah), Chance, Haydn, Michael, and Nicholas; two great-grandchildren, Rylie and Link; brother, Fred Dehn; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia A. Dehn; his siblings, Warren "Butch", John and George Dehn.
Memorial contribu-tions in Richard's name may be made to Sandusky Boosters Club.
Friends may call rom 3 p.m. until time of memorial service at 5 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2025, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave. Sandusky, Ohio 44870.

Richard was a childhood friend starting at Barker school & I looked up to all through Highschool. My heart goes out to his family & lifelong friends. I know he will be missed. Praying to his family for peace & comfort as you celebrate his life.

When I think of Richard I remember his incredible dance moves. Patsy was so lucky to have him as her lifelong dance partner. I can see them dancing the night away in Heaven. Prayers are on their way to his family and friends. Rest in peace dear friend!

Prayers to Richard's family. i will always remember him from Barker School and the little league field near his home on Mills Street, He was always a great sports competitor with a sense of humor. He worked at the bay casting finishing facility where my dad Norman Reis spoke highly of Rich. Will miss him and pray the perpetual light of the Lord's face shines on Richard's soul. So long fellow classmate of SHS class of "63". God speed.
