Richard Lee Gregory, 87, of Huron, passed away Monday, Aug. 14, 2023, at The Meadows at Osborn Park.
He was born July 21, 1936, in Windham, Ohio, to Hughie and Mattie Gregory.
Richard was employed by Ohio Machinery for over 35 years as an electrical engineer in sales, retiring in 2008.
He loved boating, taking his motor home to winter in Florida, and in his younger years, playing softball, bowling, and golf.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy (Hansen) Gregory; sons, Craig (Michelle) Gregory of California and Kenneth (Karen) Gregory of Cabot, Arkansas; grandchildren, Kelli, Kristin, Vanessa, Kyle, Joshua, Josiah, Miciah, Jekiah, and Marijka; 17 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kathleen Frame; and brothers, Raymond Gregory and David Gregory.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, until the time of Richard's memorial services at 4 p.m. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 38440 Chester Rd. Unit B, Avon, Ohio, 44011.
