Robert Bagley Obituary

Robert Lee Bagley II

Jul 10, 1991 - Jan 27, 2024

Sandusky

Robert Lee Bagley II, 32, passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, in Sandusky.

He was born July 10, 1991, in Cleveland, to Tryna Jones-Bagley and Robert L. Bagley Sr. Robert developed his unique personality at a very young age, often displaying humor that made people twice his age laugh out loud at any given time.

Upon his mother's death in 2000, Robert moved to Sandusky, where he lived and was raised by his aunt and uncle. Robert accepted Christ as a teenager and was baptized in the Church of Christ by the late Bro. William A. Burke.

Robert attended and graduated from Sandusky High School in 2010. He worked numerous jobs throughout the years, most notably at McDonald's. Robert enjoyed sports, being an avid Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James fan. He also enjoyed all forms of anime, comics, video games, and 90's nostalgia television.

Undoubtedly, Robert's biggest and best accomplishment was his son, Robert L. Bagley III, born in 2013. Robert prided himself on building an amazing relationship with his son. They would bond over all of the same interests that Robert shared as a child, especially the love of sports. Robert could often be found on the sidelines of his son's soccer games. He even became the coach of his son's basketball team.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory his son, Robert L. Bagley III; mother of his son and co-parent, Tory Madyun; father, Robert L. Bagley Sr.; siblings, Latoya Diaz-Jones, Aaron Jones Wooten, Adam Jones, and Annisha Bagley; special aunt and uncle who raised him, Rochelle and Elijah Wooten Jr.; special uncle and aunt, Kelly Jones and Andrea Webb; uncles, Charles (Kim) Jones and Timothy Jones; special cousin, E'Leesha Wooten; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives; and very special friends, Deantre Jordan, Deonjae Darden, Devin Staugh, Damonte Wilson, Eddy Newell, and Justin Williams.

In addition to his mother in 2000, Robert was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Gloria Jones; maternal grandfather, Charles Jones; paternal grandmother, Dallas Turner; and aunt, Candace Jones-Garrett.

Family visitation will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, until the time of Robert's service at 2 p.m. at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 1814 Milan Road, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870. Minister Eddie J. Johnson will officiate.
