Robert G. "Bob" Hoffman, 92, of Wooster, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, at Danbury Senior Living with his family by his side.

He was born Nov. 2, 1929, in Fremont, to Harold and Helen Yingling Hoffman. He married Peggy Davis Belt on Oct. 7, 2003, and she survives.

Bob worked for NASA as Division Chief for the Test Installation Division at Lewis Research Center in Cleveland. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and loved to play golf, spend his winters in Florida, and especially spend time with his family. Bob served his country in U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Bob is also survived by six children, Mary Ann (Mark) Del Aguaro, Jean (Steve) Siesel, Joan (Jerry) Luby, Joe (Nancy Nemec) Hoffman, Karol (Tom) Clark, and Kathy (Kerrick) Hutchison; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; Peggy's three children, Ron Howiler, Sean Howiler, and John Belt; and Peggy's four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Dick Hoffman; sister, Pat Jenkins; infant sister, Maralyn Hoffman; and mother of his children, Connie Windau Hoffman.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster, with the Rev. Stephen Moran as celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.

Friends will be received one hour prior to Mass at the church.
