Robert J. "Bob" Riggleman

It is with great sadness that Robert "Bob" J. Riggleman, 71, of Norwalk, was called to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born August 13, 1954, in Norwalk, to the late Hobert and Beatrice (Boose) Riggleman. Bob worked for many years at Price Construction Co. as a mechanic and truck driver. He then worked at the former Bleile Supply Co until they changed to Tuffman Equipment and Supply in Norwalk, which he loved and worked for over 30 years.

He married the love of his life October 14, 1978. Bob could fix any tractor or piece of old equipment, built his house from the ground up, and maintained service for their vehicles. He loved helping others without hesitation and rebuilt old tractors to run like new. He enjoyed cutting wood and "puttering" outside.

He is survived by his loving wife, Christine, of 47 years; children, Monica (Joseph) Pyles and Samantha Riggleman, all of Norwalk; granddaughters, Violet, Harlow and Mina Pyles, whom he loved deeply and would do anything for them; also survived by his siblings, John (Kathy) Riggleman, Michael (Janet) Riggleman and Kathy Kaman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mark Riggleman; sister, Maribel Brown; and, most recently, sisters, Ellen Petee and Julie Montgomery, whom we lost this last week.

Per his wishes, there will be no visitation. A celebration of Bob's life will be at a later date for family and friends, where memories will be shared, stories told, and his legacy of love honored.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cancer Services, 505 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870, in his name.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of First Health Hospice for caring for him and for their support.
