Robin P. Diebold, 60, of Castalia, passed away Monday, Aug. 14, 2023, at his residence.
He was born May 12, 1963, in Sandusky, and attended Margaretta High School. Robin proudly joined U.S. Navy when he was 17 and served on U.S.S. John F. Kennedy aircraft carrier for four years. He worked for Sandusky Coal Docks for over 30 years. Robin enjoyed walking his dogs, attending car shows, spending time with his family, and he loved going fishing for the last 30 years at the coal docks.
He is survived by his daughter, Amber Diebold; son, Michael Diebold; granddaughter, Brielle Laughlin; mother, Sharon (Perry) Diebold; two brothers, Dan Diebold and Paul (Dawn) Diebold; nieces, Rachel and Zoey; and nephew, Zach.
Robin was preceded in death by his father, Russell Diebold.
Visitation for friends will be 12-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.
