Roger Lee Meyer, 86 of Port Clinton, OH died Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton. He was born March 8, 1937 in Port Clinton, OH to the late Leo and Leona (Jensen) Meyer. He was a graduate of Port Clinton High School. He then served in the United States Army. On September 16, 1967 he married the former Nancy Cane who preceded him in death December 30, 2021. Roger worked for A&P Grocery Store, Standard Products, both of Port Clinton, and Martin Industries in Elmore, OH. He was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Port Clinton.
Survivors include his son Rodney (Baby) Meyer of Port Clinton, OH; daughter Renee (O'Dell) Simpson of Milan, OH; grandchildren: Resly, Dewayne, Noah, Nathan, and Micah. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Robin Meyer, and brother Raymond Meyer.
Services will be held privately by the family at the Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky, OH, under the direction of the Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Port Clinton Chapel. Memorial Contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.neideckercrosserpriesman.com
