Ronald Bell Obituary

Ronald C. Bell Jr.

Apr 23, 1975 - Jun 8, 2025

Sandusky

Ronald C. Bell Jr., 50, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday evening, June 8, 2025, at his residence after a lengthy illness.

Ronnie was born April 23, 1975, in Trenton, New Jersey, to Ronald C. Bell Sr. and the late Laurel Michelle (Rogers) Bell.

Ronnie graduated from Manchester Township High School in Manchester, New Jersey, and had recently completed HVAC courses at Terra State Community College in Fremont. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he served with the 10th Mountain Division during Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti. Throughout his career, Ronnie worked as a slot attendant at Bally's Casino in Atlantic City and later in the maintenance department at KBI. He was an active member of American Legion Post 83 and Sandusky AMVETS Post 29. In his free time, Ronnie enjoyed cheering for Cleveland sports teams, catching a good movie, soaking up the sunshine outdoors, and caring for his beloved bulldogs. Above all, he cherished the moments spent with his family and friends.

In addition to his father, Ronnie is survived by his two sisters, Amy Bell of Cincinnati and Heather (Adam) Stenger of Sandusky; one niece, Emma; four nephews, Caden, Aaron, Colton, and Connor; and his long-time childhood friend and "brother," Scott Benze of Absecon, New Jersey.

In addition to his mother, Ronnie is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Private family services will be at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting family with arrangements.
