Ronald R. "Ron" Zielske, 84, of Sandusky, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Stein Hospice Care Center.

He was born Oct. 3, 1939, in Sandusky, to Robert and Mary Kay Zielske and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1957. Ron then went to Ohio University, graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering. He began to work for Sam Stein Associates, retiring in Dec., 1998. Ron met his wife, Patricia (Baum) Zielske, and they married Aug. 4, 1962. They had a son, Robert, in 1968.

Ron loved to tinker on cars, fish, and hunt. He proudly served in U.S. Army from December 1962-December 1968. He was a life member of AMVETS and VFW and member of Signara Grotto, Science Lodge F. & A.M. #50, and American Legion.

Ron is survived by his wife, Pat; son, Rob of Stow; and grandson, Ian of Powell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and family members.

Ron requested no visitation or services. Cremation will take place.

Those wishing to contribute to Ronald's memory may do so to Stein Hospice or Perkins Fire Department, Rescue Division.
