Sally Ann Morrison, 88, residing in Amherst, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.

Sally was born May 21, 1937, in Canton, to the late Homer and Florence (Winifred) Herbert.

Sally was a 1955 graduate of Canton Lincoln High School. She attended Bowling Green State University, where she received a master's degree in Education, and was a member of Phi Delta Kappa International Sorority. Sally devoted more than 33 years to shaping young minds as a teacher with Edison Local School District and Vermilion City Schools. Throughout her career, she touched countless lives with her patience, dedication, and genuine love for her students. She was an active member of Red Hat Society and her sorority, where she cherished the friendships and fellowship she found there. Sally also enjoyed volunteering at Back to the Wild, giving her time and compassion to the care and rehabilitation of wildlife.

Sally is survived by her close friends and family, Scott and Linda Lanham, Jake Webber and Tonya Lanham, Shauna Lanham; best friend, Connie Lanham and her cherished parrot, Clyde Boy.

In addition to her parents, Sally is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald E. Morrison, in 2000.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding. Entombment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
