Sandra L. Shover, 84, of Huron, passed away peacefully Friday, November 14, 2025, at The Laurels of New London in New London.

Sandra is survived by her devoted husband, John Shover; her daughter Vicki (Kevin) Rickett of Sullivan; her bonus children, Jim Shover and Lisa (Mike) Wiley; her nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Michael (Renee) Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard "Dick" and Lela Smith; her son, Daniel T. Hampton Sr.; and her brother, Vaughn D. Smith.

A former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Huron, Sandra lived a life full of spirit and adventure. She enjoyed visiting casinos, watching horse racing, and especially loved traveling out West. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends, and her warmth, humor, and deep affection for those she cherished will be remembered always.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron. Final goodbyes will take place at Foster Funeral Home the following morning at 9:30 a.m. with burial to follow at 10 a.m. at Meadowgreen Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Stein Hospice, Sandusky.

Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, Huron, is assisting the family.
