Scott C. Mesenburg, 55, of Berlin Heights, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 30, 1968, in Sandusky, to Bernard (Butch) and Penelope (Penny Paul) Mesenburg.

Scott graduated from Edison High School in 1987. He was a veteran of U.S. Marines who proudly served his country from 1987-1991 serving in Desert Storm as a Lance Corporal. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors, especially boating on Lake Erie. He loved serving his country and was a very proud American.

Scott is survived by his father, Butch (Kathy) Mesenburg; brothers, Steve (Lori) Mesenburg and Donald (Amanda) Mesenburg; life partner, Andrea Buggele; grandmother, Lois Paul; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and four-legged pets.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Penny Mesenburg in 2013.

Scott's celebration of life will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Berlin Heights Conservation Club, Chapin Rd. Private burial has taken place at Meadow Green Cemetery.
