It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Sharon A Bolda, who peacefully left us in the early hours Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, in Berlin Heights, a place she called home for almost 50 years.

Sharon was born April 30, 1947, in Sandusky, to Harvey and Nelta (Rickard) Yontz.

Her spirit of resilience and grace in the face of adversity inspired all who knew her, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. Her journey through life was marked by compassion, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to those she held dear. Known for her welcoming nature and playful personality, Sharon treated everyone with open arms, making them feel like a part of the family. Her ability to create an atmosphere of warmth and inclusion was a testament to her genuine and caring spirit. She will be greatly missed.

Sharon is survived by her devoted husband, Frank J. Bolda; loving twin sister, Karen Kromer; children she was the cherished mother of, Frank A. Bolda and Joy Cleavenger; son-in-law she was beloved by, Kevin Cleavenger; adoring grandchildren her legacy extends to, Nova Bolda, Ethan Bolda, Logan Cleavenger, Zach Cleavenger, and Lucas Cleavenger; and nieces and nephews, Henry Yontz, Rita Kurtz, Linda Cone, Shannon Rafferty, Jon Kromer, and Barbara Simon.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Henry Yontz and Florence Simon; nephew, Howard Simon; mother, Nelta G. Yontz; and Harvey H. Yontz.

Visitation for friends will be 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, until the time of Sharon's prayer service at 6 p.m. at Toft Funeral Home, Hinman Chapel, 38 South Street, Berlin Heights.
