Shelley Maiberger Obituary

Shelley Rae Maiberger

Apr 26, 1965 - Jul 26, 2024

Tiffin

Shelley Rae Maiberger, 59, of Tiffin, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born April 26, 1965, in Sandusky, the daughter of Mitzi and Thomas Fronizer.

Shelley was a 1983 graduate of Sandusky High School and 1985 graduate of Tiffin Hair Academy.

She met the love of her life, Kevin, when she was 17 years old. Together, they built an amazing life together spanning over four decades.

Shelley spent her life making everything she touched beautiful. Her love and talent for interior design was unmatched. She assisted numerous people in making their homes perfect with her innate ability and eye for detail. Purple and flowers, some more purple, and every ounce of it was stunning.

But, what brought her the greatest joy was her time raising her children and watching her grandchildren grow. She devoted her life to their happiness, never missing a sporting event or dance recital. She was the greatest Nee nee and Gammy ever.

Shelley is survived by her loving husband, Kevin, whom she married Aug. 3, 1990; adoring mother, Mitzi Fronizer; beautiful daughters, Victoria (Ryan) Setele and Rachel Maiberger; beloved grandchildren, Braelynn Maiberger and Hudson and Bexley Setele; sister, Susan (Chris) Wynn; mother-in-law, Doris Maiberger; aunt, Martha Barnhart; and numerous brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Tracy Fronizer; father, Thomas Fronizer; and maternal grandparents, Rudy and Frieda Klemperer.

Visitation for friends to share memories with the family will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 36 Melmore St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, with the Rev. Anthony Coci officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass at the church. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA) at OCRAhope.org or by mail, OCRA, PO Box 32141, New York, New York, 10087-2141.
