Suellen A. Gaydos, 75, residing in Castalia, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025, at home with hospice care after a lengthy battle with multiple myeloma.
Suellen was born March 1, 1949, in Port Clinton to the late Elmer and Louzetta (McGee) Andrews.
Suellen retired from US Bank as a Mortgage Loan Processor at US Bank in 2016 after 15 years of service and in retirement she worked at the front desk at Firelands Regional Medical Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, shopping, her greatest joy was supporting her grandchildren in any and all of their activities.
Suellen is survived by her daughter, Jacque (Rob) Dunn of Castalia; son, John (Mary) Gaydos of Sandusky. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Taylor (Joe) Kausek, Brad (Laura) Dunn, Jordan (Tyler) Rohrer and Jacob Gaydos; one great-granddaughter, Sawyer; two sisters, Kathy Myers of Georgia and Chris (Wayne) Koran of Cleveland; special niece, Stacie (Kirk) Barton and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Suellen is preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny and Skeet Andrews.
A family celebration of life will take place in the summer. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory will be assisting the family with arrangements.
