Sun Tok (Kim) Peggs, 78, residing in Sandusky, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 9, 2025, at Stein Hospice Care Center after a lengthy illness.
Sun Tok was born April 11, 1947, in South Korea, to the late Ohbong Kim and Yisun Lee.
Sun Tok worked at American Crayon for over 20 years. She was a devoted member of Handol Methodist Church and a loving homemaker who poured her heart into caring for her family. She found joy in tending her garden, exploring new places through travel, and sharing her love through the meals she prepared.
Sun Tok is survived by her sons, Charles E. (Jodi) Reed Jr., William F. (Julie) Reed, and Johnny C. (Indigo) Reed; grandchildren, Joshua Reed, Johnathon Reed, Lauren Reed, and Myles Reed; stepgrandchildren, Sam, Josh, and William Harkelroad; great-grandson, Lorenzo Reed; sister, Sujin Kim; and her brother, Daehyun Kim; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Sun Tok is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles E. "Papa Rok" Reed; second husband, George Prieur; third husband, Edward J. Peggs in 2022; and her sister, Youngmi Walczak.
Friends may call from noon until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2025, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Tony Robinson of Father's Heart Family Church and Pastor Sunjin Kim of Handol Methodist Church will co-officiate the service. Private inurnment will be at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
