Teresa Brown, 65, of Sandusky, gained her heavenly wings Sunday, June 23, 2024, surrounded by her family after a brief illness.

She was born Jan. 7, 1959, to Isaac and Velma (Lee) Brown. She graduated from Sandusky High School in 1977 and worked for Erie County Care for some time. She also worked at Sandusky Plastics with 25 years of service, ending her work career at Delphi.

Teresa was a lifelong member of Porter's Memorial C.M.E. Church (since age 11).

Teresa is survived by her loving, only daughter, Tamika Brown; four brothers, Earnest (Wilma) Brown, Isaac (Terrianne) Brown, Jesse (Cathelean) Brown, and Melvin Brown; two aunts, Bertha Harris and Effie Dace; special cousins, Charlotte Wade, Jerome and Tracey Tucker, and John (Goldie) Smith; special nephew, Marshal Castile; special daughters, Te'Qeira and Shamecia Green and Ke'Ajanay and Paris Moore; and special friends, Vera Graves, Lois Young, Murrial Robinson Jones, Yvette Henson, and Cynthia Bernard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rosemary Brown; brothers, Sam and Terry Brown; nephew, Dexter Bolton; grandparents, Sam and Hattie Brown and Rosevelt and Rose Easley; uncles, Rosevelt, William, Austin, Sam, John, and Willie Brown, Johnnie Edwards Jr., and Albert and Legend Easley; and aunts, Alberta Humphries, Hattie Smith, Pearl, Bessie, Lois, Essie, Mary, and Buelah Brown, and Carrie, Minnie, and Alice Easley.

Visitation for friends will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024, until the time of Teresa's services at 12 p.m. at Porter's Memorial C.M.E. Church, 1722 Third St., Sandusky. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery.

Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling arrangements.
