Terry Schnee, 66, of Norwalk, died peacefully in his sleep Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, after a lengthy illness.

He was born Feb. 23, 1956, in Norwalk, the son of Richard and Sylvia Schnee.

Terry was a 1975 graduate of St. Paul High School and EHOVE. He was the trucking manager for KoKosing Construction, where he worked for 18 years. Prior to this, he was employed at Erie Blacktop and S.E. Johnson as a trucking dispatcher.

Terry loved his family and friends and would not hesitate to do anything he could for them. He wanted them all to know how much he loved them. He loved cruising down the road and taking road trips in his '95 Jeep, listening to music. Terry also loved 4-wheeling with his wife and friends in Pennsylvania. He played softball in Norwalk Men's League from high school graduation until his 50s. He also umpired. Terry was a member of Norwalk Eagles #711.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Janis; four children, Terrin (Tom Welch) Schnee of Sandusky, Alyssa (Scott) Valentine of Norwalk, Patrick Amburgy of Norwalk, and Amy Amburgy of Willard; grandchildren, Kristy and Keagan, Brooke and Patrick Amburgy, Josh (Amber) Jewell, and Derek and Devin Jewell; great-grandson, Jackson Jewell; brothers, Ronald (Vicky) Schnee and Bill Schnee; brother-in-law, Christan (Melissa) Hipp; and numerous nieces and nephews.

At Terry's wishes, he will be cremated.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, until the time of Terry's memorial service at 12 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857.
