Timothy Joseph Fiser, 69, of Clyde, passed away Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023.

He was born Feb. 9, 1954, in Bellevue, to Ernest Arthur Fiser and Adelaide Elizabeth Fiser.

Tim is survived by his brother, Arthur Fiser; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Fiser and Suzanne Kay (Tom) Kenney; three children, Stacy Sue (Kyle) Moore, Kylie Ann Fiser, and Evan Joseph Fiser; and five grandchildren, Carter Fiser, Caeson Fiser, Elexis Moore, Grason Moore, and Julia Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Arthur Fiser and Adelaide Elizabeth Fiser; and brother-in-law, Stephen Wyant.

Tim had a love for life and was never shy of hard work. He spent his youth assisting his father providing emergency medical services for Sandusky County. Tim used the experience he learned from his dad to help his sister cannulate and dialyze his brother-in-law, Stephen, at his home for over two years. Because of his experience with and training with his dad, he was able to help his sister, Mary Beth, remain calm as she learned to do hemo dialysis that she used to dialyze her husband at home. His skills were enhanced with his attendance at a Trade School for Jewelry. Upon graduation, Tim and his father established a business, "Gems Unlimited," in the former Grace Episcopal church on Buckeye Street, which they had renovated. They operated the business from 1974-1984.

After the store closed, Tim worked a great variety of jobs, varying from construction to factory work. He also adopted his two daughters.

Tim had a passion for his work at Clyde-Green Springs School system as he worked as a custodian, groundskeeper, bus mechanic, bus driver, and Vice President for OAPSE (Ohio Association of Public School Employees). Even after retirement, he was known to go back into work and help the bus garage.

In his later years, Tim continued his jewelry work and spent much of his time tending his garden and visiting close friends. He never slowed down and let nothing keep him down right up to the end.

There will be a private interment at McPherson Cemetery. A celebration of life will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy., Clyde, Ohio, 43410.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to charity of their choice. Especially important to Tim are Diabetes Foundation, Clyde Schools, and Multiple Sclerosis Association.
