Todd Baker, 64, of Clyde, passed away Friday, January 23, 2026. Born January 2, 1962, in Bellevue, to Garold and Arlene Baker, Todd was a charismatic soul who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

Todd was a man of many talents and interests. He was employed as a crane operator at Whirlpool in Clyde, retiring in 2022 along with his wife. His retirement years were filled with hobbies he loved, such as golfing, hunting, fishing, gardening, model trains, woodworking, and playing poker. He was a member of WR Hunt Club and Bellevue Eagles. Todd was a creative individual with his woodworking talents, having made beautiful furniture pieces for family members.

Todd was a loving husband to Tammy Baker (marriage date March 2, 1996) and a devoted father to Shelby and Riley Baker. He is also survived by his sister, Vicki (Ron) Newsom; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sandy and Gene Ross; and sister-in-law, Kim McGilton.

Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Garold and Arlene Baker and his brother, Tim Baker (d. November 21, 2025).

Despite his many interests, what mattered most to Todd was his family. He was an instigator, always ready to make his loved ones laugh and fill their lives with cheer.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2026, at Auxter-Recker Funeral Home, 218 South Main Street, Clyde. Memorial service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 147 West Forest Street, Clyde. Memorial contribu-tions in honor of Todd Baker may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
