Todd Spore Obituary

Todd R. Spore

Oct 10, 1978 - Nov 6, 2023

Sandusky

Todd R. Spore, 45, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday, Nov. 6, 2023, at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

Todd was born Oct. 10, 1978, in Sandusky, to Richard and Tracy (Fresch) Spore. He was a pillar of strength and beacon of joy throughout his life, leaving an incredible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Todd was a 1997 graduate of Margaretta High School. His love for learning led him to The Ohio State University and later to Ohio Business College, where he graduated with a degree in business. He earned his Masters in Accounting from DeVry University. Todd loved his accounting job, working as a CPA alongside the wonderful staff at Payne Nickles & Co. in Sandusky.

Passionate about his hometown, Todd was an avid supporter of anything Sandusky. He served on Board of Directors for North Coast Young Professionals and was an active participant in Perkins Athletic Boosters Club. His commitment to his community was evident in his involvement from Party at the Pier Planning, coaching youth sports, and his love for spending endless summer days at Cedar Point.

A diehard Ohio sports fan, Todd was often seen wearing his favorite Ohio State or Cleveland Browns jersey. His passion for sports extended to youth sports, where he enjoyed coaching his own children and their peers. Todd had a gift for connecting with kids, offering them constant encouragement both on and off the ball fields. His incredible sense of humor and quick wit were infectious, filling any room with laughter and joy, even in challenging times.

Todd was an incredible husband and father, always putting his family first. His love for his family, community, and work was evident in everything he did. Todd's legacy will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and in the community he so passionately served.

Above all, Todd was a devoted family man.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Stephanie (Boone) Spore; children, Alexa, Joseph, and Giuliana Spore; parents, Richard and Tracy Spore; sister, Sally (Ryan) Camella; brothers, Kyle (Caitlin) Spore and Troy (Megan) Spore; sister-in-law, Michelle (Shaun) McLaughlin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Todd was preceded in death by many wonderful family members.

Todd Spore lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched and his memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. His passing is a great loss to his family, friends, and community, but his spirit will forever remain a part of Sandusky.
