Todd Michael Zwilling, 51, of Huron, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, in Sandusky.
He was the son of Richard (Rick) and Susan (Sue) Zwilling, (both deceased) of Rocky River, Ohio. He was the dearest brother of Amy Zwilling, 'most awesome uncle' to Angelo and August (Auggie) Schaedler, beloved nephew, cousin to many, friend to hundreds, and loved by all.
Todd spent 20 years in the cryogenics maintenance department of NASA. Most recently, he was working at Litehouse Pools in Sandusky.
Todd was a talented athlete throughout his childhood and teenage years, graduating from Rocky River High School as the captain of the Pirates' hockey team and he played varsity baseball. He went on to The Ohio State University and studied Communications for three years. Throughout most of his adult years, Todd participated in multiple adult hardball leagues. He was an avid golfer and flag football league player.
Todd was best known to his many friends and family as the FUNNY MAN THAT EVERYONE LOVED. There was never a more compassionate, yet hilarious person than Todd. He was the life of the party. Actually… it wasn't a party unless Todd was there.
Todd loved his world in Huron.
There will be a celebration of life at the end of February or beginning of March. Information on that date will be distributed on Facebook.
In lieu of flowers please donate to Community West Foundation, Attn: Rocky River High School hockey department, in memory of Todd M. Zwilling, 800 Sharon Drive Suite C, Westlake, Ohio, 44145.
